I just decided I am going to edit together a video clip for today check back in a couple hours hopfully I will have something on.

Day 2 or is it 3 (Monday)

Today we went to visit Central Medical Christian Hospital. Dr. Gerhart donated 2 huge bags of Medicine to them. We toured the facility that is still being constructed. Dr Gerhart spoke with the surgeon to find out what kind of equipment is needed for the hospital to try to arrange to have some of it donated. We also toured the IBS bible school facility. We met with Pastor Zongo who is having a womens ministry center there. We were greated by many children who were very happy to meet with us. I hope to post some video tonight but it is very difficult because of the power here. I only have one voltage converter and lot's of batteries to charge as well as keep my laptop running, plus the internet connection isn't the greatest.

Travel to Burkina Faso

Well yesterday's trip was long, but we made it. We arrive in Paris 8:00
AM Paris Time. We did a short tour of Paris which was interesting. We hired some kid they we met at the airport to drive us around and show us some of the sights. He charged us 30 Euro each which seemed like a deal. He took the 10 of us around in a 7 Passenger Van. We sampled some local cuisine , we had omelets and bread and paid about 20 bucks a piece. But hey when in Rome.
I saw the Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame Arche de Triumph. We finaly arrived in Burkino last night around 9:30 everyone's luggage arived safely except mine. We got to the Faith Assembly headquarters late last night.
It's amazing how God works, last night when I went to bed I wanted nothing more than to go home. I couldn't even fathom what made me want to come here. Imediately after breakfast this morning within 5 minutes I felt the exact opposite. I am now so glad I came and can't wait to see what the week has in store. I should be posting some photos and a video clip tonight.
