Well yesterday's trip was long, but we made it. We arrive in Paris 8:00
AM Paris Time. We did a short tour of Paris which was interesting. We hired some kid they we met at the airport to drive us around and show us some of the sights. He charged us 30 Euro each which seemed like a deal. He took the 10 of us around in a 7 Passenger Van. We sampled some local cuisine , we had omelets and bread and paid about 20 bucks a piece. But hey when in Rome.
I saw the Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame Arche de Triumph. We finaly arrived in Burkino last night around 9:30 everyone's luggage arived safely except mine. We got to the Faith Assembly headquarters late last night.
It's amazing how God works, last night when I went to bed I wanted nothing more than to go home. I couldn't even fathom what made me want to come here. Imediately after breakfast this morning within 5 minutes I felt the exact opposite. I am now so glad I came and can't wait to see what the week has in store. I should be posting some photos and a video clip tonight.

Hi Burkino Faso Mission Team!! Whoh - That makes you missionaries...do you realize the importance of that? Woo-hoo! Go Guys!! Church went well this morning! We had to dig our way out of our driveways through about 5-6 inches of powdery snow. It is so powedery, we can't make a snowman out of it. Not even a snowball - I tried! As for the NFL - Baltimore beat Tennessee (low scoring 13-10) and Arizona crushed Carolina in an upset (33-12). Today's game in progress - Philly currently over the Giants 20-11 in the 4th quarter - 12 minutes to go. Tonight's game SanDiego @ Pitt - GO CHARGERS!! DOWN WITH THE STEELERS!!
ReplyDeleteThe Galade children are still alive and Jacob was fine at church this morning. He loves you mom!! Enjoy the warm weather!! It's still cold here. We are praying for you!! Bring back some life changing testimonies!!
Love You All!

Good Afternoon! It is 4:30 p.m. here (Sunday). Even though we had snow, we had 348 in attendance! Praise the Lord! All went well with Bob Anderson speaking. Pastor, I was trying to help Stephanie get on to blog but didn't succeed. She is going to call Lenore for some help now. Cheryl, I told DJ to take care of his dad because he will need the help!!!! :-) Looking forward to hearing great things done for the Lord when you return. Also, you can bring a "little" warm weather back with you; according to the two-week forcast it is going to be burrrrrrrrr! With you in thoughts, prayers and heart. Hugs, carol :-)
ReplyDeleteDJ Galade is here in my living room! He wants to write a note to his mom!!

ReplyDeleteThis is Stephanie and I think I have got it now, blogging. Well the Steelers did it!! They play the Ravens next weekend, I heard it could be a tough game. We will see how tough they really are. I'm just speaking from what I hear from my husband. Hope you guys had a great day!! Enjoy the warmth because it isn't here (20 today and heading down). We are praying for you and know that the Lord is going to use you in some wonderful ways. Love ya all,
